The Abo Akademi University in Turku, Finland is the only university in Finland, in which the teaching is done in Swedish language. This university has a department for paper making and printing. It organized for thier students and for industry attendees an applied science program, in which many speakers from industry and the university had talks.

Erwin Widmer was invited to have a talk about standards in the printing industry and to have discussions with five groups about applications to maintain quality in the printing production.
